Disability

We provide direct services to adults and children with disabilities who live in Southwark and its surrounding boroughs.

Our services include:

  • Cambridge House Play and Respite Care Scheme: a holiday play scheme for children, young people and adults with moderate and severe learning disabilities and/or multiple disabilities that require one-to-one or two-to-one support staff ratios.
  • After-School clubs: for children and young people who have moderate to severe learning disabilities that are delivered in local schools and on-site at Cambridge House.
  • Nineteen Plus: an adult day centre that uses innovative methods to teach life skills for independent living to adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities. They also produce a range of materials and resources for other groups to use.
  • The Saturday Arts Club: is regularly attended by up to 15 adults with moderate or severe learning disabilities each week. Art is a medium that the participants we work with use as a channel for expression, personal development and peer learning.
